Summary: Solo Traveller. Check in was chaotic. Very busy at 3pm. Rooms not finished cleaning. Reception Staff were very nice, polite, helpful and friendly throughout my 2 night stay. Room was really clean; bed was comfortable. I didn’t like not having a window but the room was a good size and I didn’t feel claustrophobic. There were no bedside lights so it was either bright or completely dark. Coffee making facilities definitely aimed at the Dominican guests. Tiny shot size paper coffee cups. I had taken sachets of cappuccino coffee and mint tea bags but there was no kettle and the cups weren’t big enough anyway. I am British and live in DR. I would definitely stay here again but pay a bit more for a room with a window. The hotel is well placed for visiting Zona Colonial and getting Uber was no problem.
