Positive: The property itself is beautiful: the décor is lovely, the grounds are breathtaking, and the place has so much potential.

Negative: I booked this place for one night with the clear understanding that check-in was at 3:00 PM. Following their instructions, we arrived around 1:00 PM, completed the paperwork, paid the required fees, and then went out for lunch, expecting the suite to be ready on time. When we returned at 3:00 PM, we were told it would take “just five minutes” and that someone would walk us to the suite. Instead, we waited over an hour sitting at reception. When I finally pointed out that I had planned to check in at 3:00 PM—not to spend my afternoon waiting—I was told there had been an error. They apologized and offered an extended checkout the next day. Unfortunately, this did not make up for the situation. I specifically booked this stay to rest in the afternoon before heading out for my birthday celebration, and those plans were completely disrupted. We were finally able to check in at 4:35 PM. The issues didn’t stop there. When I went to shower, the bathroom doors were stuck and wouldn’t close, and there was no shower soap in the dispenser. Overall, this was not a good experience. The hotel charges $50 for extended checkout, which makes me suspect another guest was allowed to stay late, disrupting the schedule—but in return, I was not properly acknowledged or compensated for the inconvenience caused to me. This is especially disappointing because the property itself is beautiful: the décor is lovely, the grounds are breathtaking, and the place has so much potential. Sadly, the management is extremely poor, which overshadowed what could have been a great stay.
