Summary: Property was gorgeous. The 39 steps up were worth the view- group consensus! Maribelle cleaned when we needed her & water was delivered asap each time we called. Cofresi Beach was the best beach we visited - no vendors except a few kids selling peanuts. Pool was amazing & most times we were the only people in it. There was no problem parking the car but it is a little walk to retrieve. Older group of travelers- steps were manageable & AC in the bedrooms was nice & refreshing. Things to know- cooking was a little challenging because frying pans need replaced but we managed. New knives would be great but we can bring our own next time. Plastic & glass a plenty for beverages & we even took the cooler with us to the grocery store. Everyone loved the condo. We had plenty of towels & felt that we had everything we needed. I also want to mention the presence of security- at no time did we feel unsafe. We met a local guy - Gus who helped us book snorkeling & horseback riding. He even came to help us when we accidentally left the light on in the car & had a dead battery. Our first trip & we already want to return! Bodega close by with good prices & they didn’t mind USD. Restaurants Charro’s and Chris & Mady’s were very close. No car needed. We did drive into Maimon for 2 great meals of fresh fish. Pack light! It’s hot in the DR & if you’re not a resort traveler- this is the place! BTW- no one in our party spoke Spanish & we managed quite well. Do not fear a language barrier!
